Samba: A workshop on Goods and Service Taxes, ‘The New Taxation System ‘ was organized for traders by Commercial Taxes Department at Vijaypur Saturday.
The Commercial taxes officials gave a brief overview highlighting key features of GST, Registration, Exemptions and other vital aspects. They informed that with the implementation of GST, operation and data related to goods and services shall be processed in a seamless manner. In Saturday’s session, numbers of Jewellers were also present who raised their issues and concerns with the officials. Besides, traders sought clarifications from officials on variety of issues like Input Tax credit, tax on pending stock items ,mandatory registrations, branded and non branded items rates.
