Samba: Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga Saturday dedicated a 100 KVA transformer to the people of Daulatchak in Ramgarh block. The transformer has been sanctioned by the Minister out of his Constituency Development Fund (CDF)
The Minister also interacted with the people on the occasion who apprised him with the developmental needs of the area and sought immediate steps to improve power supply in the area.
Ganga directed Xen PDD to take requisite steps to augment power supply besides keeping a strict check on power pilferages and irregular power connections so that genuine consumers may not suffer.
He said the government is making concerted efforts to ensure better amenities to people and steps under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana shall help improve power scenario to a larger extent. He also informed that issue of upgradation of roads in Ramgarh block has been taken up with the BRO.
Later, the Minister also kick started works on Lanes and drains to be executed by the Rural Development department in panchayat Chak Salarian.
He was accompanied by Xen PDD Ashok Gupta, BDO Mukesh Sharma and other concerned officers.
