Poonch: District Development Commissioner, Tariq Ahamad Zargar inaugurated a Workshop cum Orientation Program on GST, here Saturday.
The program was organized by Commercial Taxes Department in collaboration with district administration Poonch.
During the program, Assistant Commissioner Sales Tax, Jammu Pardeep Singh Chib, CTOs Pankaj Sasan and Rizwan Asghar presented detail information regarding the implementation of GST to DDOs, representatives of various trade associations, contractors, shopkeepers, etc.
DDC in his address said district administration will provide best possible support to the commercial taxes department in organizing informative and awareness programs on GST in rural and remote areas of the district.
Later an interactive session was held by Assistant Commissioner Commercial Taxes Department and his team on issues pertaining to registration and returns files.
