Kavinder inaugurates upgraded lanes at Channi Himmat

Jammu: Speaker Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta Thursday inaugurated the upgraded lanes and drains in ward no 51 Channi Himmat.

Speaker said “Development works across Gandhi Nagar constituency are in full swing and instructions have been issued to cover each and every pocket” he said adding that Government is resolute to create better living conditions for the people.

Speaker told the locals that more development projects will be launched in the area for ensuring better amenities. He said Rs 10 lakh each has been sanctioned for the upgradation of lanes and drains of each ward of Gandhi Nagar constituency.

Later, Speaker gave a patient hearing to the grievances put forth by the locals. He assured that all their grievances will be redressed and directed the concern officers to take the requisite steps in this regard.

Senior functionaries of various departments and locals were present on the occasion.
