Ramban: District Development Commissioner Tariq Hussain Ganai Thursday reviewed the performance achieved under District CAPEX budget, 2017-18 besides taking stock of status of implementation of DDB decisions at an officers meeting.
The DC directed the officers to ensure expeditious implementation of DDB decisions and so that key development projects and schemes are completed in time.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Ravinder Nath Sadhu, CPO Uttam Singh, Executive Engineers of PDD, PWD and PHE, CMO, CEO, DFOs and other district officers.
DDC expressed dismay over slow progress on certain development works and set deadlines for all the departments to accelerate the pace of progress on ongoing projects so that the targets are achieved under district plan, state plan and other centrally sponsored schemes.
DDC reviewed the implementation of all the decisions of the DDB meeting and directed to further speed up the execution of various development works.
The meeting had a detailed deliberation on various issues including certain bottlenecks in effective implementation of DDB decisions.
The DC asked Executive Engineer PHE for fast tracking the work on construction of filtration plant at Ramban and Batote besides directing Executive Engineer PWD to ensure timely completion of school buildings under RMSA and works of road projects.
The DDC reviewed the physical and financial achievements registered by Education, RDD, PWD, PHE, PDD, Health, Forest, Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries departments under the District plan.
