Srinagar/July,24: Clashes broke out on Mondau in Beerwah town of central Kashmir’s Budgam district after protesters pelted stones on government forces.Ffter attending fateha (prayers) of the slain civilian Tanveer Ahmad Wani, people took out protests and pelted stones on government forces.
Witnesses said that forces deployed in the area resorted to teargas shelling to disperse the protesters.
Wani, a tailor by profession, was killed in army firing in the town on Friday.
