Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police today recovered four bags of Fukki, though the drug peddler managed to escape in south Kashmir district of Anantnag. A Police Spokesperson here this evening said that acting on specific information about transportation of Fukki, a checkpoint was established at Sangam on Srinagar-Jammu national highway in Anantnag.
He said police intercepted a vehicle at the checkpoint and during checking, recovered four bags of Fukki. The vehicle was also seized, though the driver gave a slip to the police, he said. The driver has been identified and a manhunt has been launched to nab him, the Spokesperson added.
