Srinagar/July,23: Army here on Sundsy orps commander said that “efforts by anti-nationals to create divide between army and police won’t work”.
He said that police and army “are always together as brothers in arms”.
“Efforts to create divide between army and police by anti-nationals won’t work. We are together always works as brothers in arms,” Chinar Corps Commander said in a tweet.
The tweet has however attracted lot of ire from netizens, with a Twitterati pointing out that the use of word “anti-national” is “the refuge to dodge issues”.
“The word anti-national is the refuge to dodge issues. Deal with the indiscipline in ur (your) team. Simple and straight,” wrote @samirbanday.
Eight policemen, including an Assistant Sub-Inspector, were injured after army men thrashed them for allegedly stopping their vehicle at a check-post in Gund area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district late Friday night.
