Srinagar: National Conference Working President and MLA Beerwah, Omar Abdullah on Friday expressed grief and sorrow over the killing of a youth in Beerwah, Budgam and expressed his solidarity with the bereaved family. Praying for solace to the family of young Tanveer Ahmed Wani or Arwah, Beerwah, Omar Abdullah said the cycle of death and despair must end.
“My heart goes out to the family of young Tanveer Ahmed Wani or Arwah, Beerwah and all such families who have had to bear such tragic and inconsolable losses. The cycle of death and despair has consumed our young and this cycle must be broken with peace, resolution and reconciliation”, Omar Abdullah said.
Senior NC Leaders including NC Chief Spokesperson Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, Zonal President MLC Ali Muhammad Dar, MLC Aga Syed Mehmood, Political Secretary Tanvir Sadiq, Senior Leader Professor Abdul Majeed Mattoo besides others have expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of a young life and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
