Srinagar/July,22: A complete shutdown is being observed in Budgam district’s Beerwah town in central Kashmir today to protest the killing of a youth in army firing Friday this week.
All shops and other business establishments are closed in Beerwah town, Khag and Aripanthan areas to mourn the death of Tanveer Ahmad Wani.
Wani, a young tailor, was shot dead by army during protests in Beerwah town yesterday. Police have lodged an FIR against army.
Authorities have imposed restrictions and sealed all entry and exit points of Beerwah town to prevent protests against Wani’s killing.
