Pulwama: Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Institute (MSMEDI) J&K in association with Lassipora Industrial Association Pulwama Thursday organized an awareness program on Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Zero Defect Zero Effect (ZED) certification system at Lassipora, Pulwama.
All the stake holders with regards to Industrial Development were present on the occasion including Assistant Director MSMEDI Srinagar, Manager DIC Pulwama Commercial Tax Officers and President Lassipora Industrial Association, Estate Manager SIDCO and Entrepreneurs of the Kashmir division.
Assistant Director briefed about the aim and objective of program, which is to make the stake holders with regards to industrial development aware about new ZED Certification System adopted by GoI, Central Udyog Aadhaar registration and GST.
Manager DIC Pulwama emphasized that it should be collective effort to upgrade to next level of Industrial Development and I&C department will provide full support in this cause.
Officer Commercial Taxes Office explained about the new tax system GST answered many queries of the entrepreneurs with regards to GST.
Technical session about the schemes of MSME started with presentation on ZED Certification by which MSME’s will be categorized on the basis of rating they will get after assessment as Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond and Platinum rated companies.
