Srinagar/: A Deputation of several Traders Associations Wednesday called on the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan on the issues regarding Goods & Services Tax (GST).
Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Additional Commissioner Commercial Taxes, Deputy Director Planning, Representatives of different trade associations and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
Additional Commissioner Commercial Taxes informed the meeting about every procedure of GST. He also asked traders to log on towww.gst.gov.in for registration of their business unit.
On the occasion, Traders appraised various issues regarding GST to Divisional Commissioner.
The Divisional Commissioner assured the deputation that their grievances will be redressed in a priority basis.
Stressing on the need to create further awareness on GST among traders, Khan directed Additional Commissioner Commercial Taxes to create mass awareness of GST in print and electronic media. He also asked him to conduct special interaction session with all trade organizations.
