Scores injured in Shopian clashes after the accidental death of a minor girl

Srinagat/July,20: scores are reported injured in clashes in Zainpora area of Shopian district against the army over thr death of minor girl hit by an army vehicle Thursday morning..

Nineteen injured were being treated at CHC Zainapora while one person who had suffered pellet injuries in his eye was shifted to Srinagar for specialised treatment, licals said.

They said that locals are demanding the arrest of the army driver.

A minor girl was killed after being hit by an army vehicle in Aglar village of Zainapora earlier today.

Clashes erupted after forces fired pellets and lobbed teargas shells to disperse the protesters demanding arrest of the driver.
