Jammu: Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh and Speaker Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta Tuesday paid floral tributes to the martyred soldier Naik Mudasir Ahmad, a resident of Tral, Pulwama, who died in Pakistan shelling Monday, while guarding a forward post on LoC in Rajouri sector.
The Deputy Chief Minister and Speaker Legislative Assembly laid floral wreaths on the mortal remains of the soldier. Top civil, army and police officers were present there.
Dr Nirmal Singh and Kavinder Gupta praised the bravery and valor of the Army personnel guarding the borders against the aggression of enemy.
Among others present on the occasion were DIG Jammu Ashkoor Wani, Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Kumar Rajeev Ranjan and senior officers of Army.
