Srinagar: Senior resistance leader and Jammu Kashmir National Front chairman, Nayeem Khan today visited Churpora and Guripora Budgam and exhibited solidarity with the parents of Shaheed Javaid Ahmad Shiekh and Shaheed Aaqib Gul . Shaheed Javed Ahmad Sheikh and Shaheed Aaqib Gul laid down their lives for the cause of freedom yesterday along with Shaheed Sajad Ahmad Gilkar of Malaratta, Srinagar while fighting the occupational forces.
While meeting the parents of Shaheed Javed Ahmad Sheikh and Shaheed Aaqib Gul, Nayeem Khan said that Kashmiri nation owe a lot to the parents of all the martyrs because it is the blood of martyrs which has brought the Kashmir issue out of the cold storage and is now being talked and discussed at international forums.
Nayeem Khan was taken upto Radbugh in a rally were the residential house was razed to ground by the Indian forces in order to martyr the trio. Nayeem Khan, while addressing the very enthusiastic gathering raising pro-freedom and anti-India slogans paid rich and glowing tributes to Shaheed Javed Ahmad Sheikh, Shaheed Aaqib Gul and Shaheed Sajad Ahmad Gilkar.
“The people of Kashmir have been laying down their lives for freedom since 1931,” Nayeem Khan said and added that hundreds of people are languishing in jails for the same cause. We cannot allow anyone to build his political castles on the blood of our martyrs. People of Kashmir must keep their eyes and ears open so that no Mir Sadiq or Mir Jafar could do any hanky panky.
Nayeem Khan told the gathering that people must take care of the martyr’s families who need any sort of help. He said that unless we do our part of job on individual levels there can be no change on ground. We have to decide once for all that we are on path of a resistance against the Indian occupation and whenever we get any chance to exhibit our resentment against it we must not lose that opportunity.
