Athawale alleges Kohli, Yuvraj fixed CT final

New Delhi: Union Minister Ramdas Athawale alleged that Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh among others of the team were involved in the match fixing of the Champions Trophy Final with Pakistan.
Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Athawale questioned how could experienced coach like Kumble and batsman like Kohli and Yuvraj Singh and others, who performed brilliantly in the entire tournament, could be easily thrashed by Pakistan in the finals, the Republican Party of India leader told reporters after attending meetings with district officials in Vadodara yesterday.
India faced a humiliating defeat of 180 runs against Pakistan on June 18 final.
“I have doubt over India’s defeat in the finals who played brilliantly throughout the tournament, therefore I demand an inquiry into it,” the minister said.
Athawale also demanded 25 per cent reservation for Dalit community in cricket and other games.
