Srinagar: Rajiv Mehrishi, Union Home Secretary, called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here Thursday.
The Governor and the Home Secretary discussed the obtaining security environment and issues in regard to which effective enforcement and implementation are required, particularly keeping in view the continuing attempts at infiltration, cease-fire violations and recurring incidents aimed to cause unrest. Mehrishi, who had visited the holy Amarnathji cave earlier in the day informed the Governor about the security arrangements in force observed by him.
