Srinagar/June,28: The government on Wednesday ordered minor reshuffle in the administration. As per the orders issued by General Administration Department (GAD), Special Secretary to the Government Social Welfare Department Showkat Ahmad Beigh has been transferred and posted as Secretary in the Agriculture Production Department an insignificant position as S K Naik is heading the department as Principle Secretary Agriculture Production Department . Earlier Showkat Beigh was Director Agriculture Kashmir as he plunged into several controversies including the one concerning sale of “Mushkbudjee” rice at agriculture department’s outlets for the first time in Kashmir valley.
As per the same order, Administrator Associated Hospitals, Srinagar Rifat Arif has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government Social Welfare Department.
Deputy Commissioner Relief Organization (Migrants), Kashmir Mufti-M-Fareed-ud-din has been transferred and posted as Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Srinagar against an available vacancy.
Deputy Labour Commissioner Kashmir Ghulam Rasool Kumar has been transferred and posted as Administrator Associated Hospitals Srinagar vice Rifat Arif.
“Krishan Lai, Deputy Labour Commissioner (Central) shall hold the additional charge of the post of Deputy Labour Commissioner, Srinagar, till further orders,” reads the GAD order.
