Jammu: Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta, Thursday laid foundation stone for development of green spaces on both sides of different nallas and Irrigation canals in Ward No. 56 and 58 at Jeevan Nagar Jammu.
MLC Vikram Randhava and officers of Jammu Municipal Corporation were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the Speaker saidthe government is keen in creation of durable infrastructural facilities in all vital sectors. He asked the people to take care of all public utilities created by the government for their own convenience. He urged the locals to help in maintaining these parks.
The Speaker said the government is according focused attention on upgradation of existing parks where the people can enjoy the morning walks and school children will be able to have fun and picnics.
