Srinagar: President Peoples Democratic Front and MLA Khansahib, Hakim Muhammad Yasin Friday condemned the killing of a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP), who was lynched to death on Thursday night outside historic Jamia Masjid.
Terming the lynching of a senior police officer as ‘inhuman and un-Islamic’ Hakim Yasin said, “Such incidents are highly condemnable,” he said.
“If people according to them are following the movement, such incidents now will affect their movement,” he said.
He also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and also prayed for their patience to bear this loss.
Hakim also prayed for the heavenly abode of the slain police officer.
