Srinagar, June 22: A 22-year-old youth was killed after forces used force to quell protesters in Kakpora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday
Reports reaching here said that youth identified as Tawseef Ahmad Wani of Tengpuna village received a serious injury in his abdomen and head after hit by tear smoke shell.
Wani was immediately shifted to nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, they said.
The clashes erupted in the area following an encounter which resulted in killing of three local LeT militants.
