Srinagar/June,18: Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association (ADCSA) Monday held a protest demonstration here in Press Enclave Srinagar demanding removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre and implementation of 7th Pay Commission in the State on the pattern of Central Government.
Scores of clerical employees from various State Government departments while carrying placards in their hands raised slogans against the State Government for ignoring their genuine issues.
The protesting employees said that their main demand is removal of pay anomalies by giving Grade of 4000-6000 to Junior Assistant, 4500-7000 to Senior-Assistant and 5500-9000 to Head Assistant and Junior Stenographers notionally with effect from January 1, 1996 and monetarily with effect from February 19, 2003.
“Our other demands include conducting DPC in all the departments after every six months, reorganization of the clerical cadre outside the Civil Secretariat on the pattern of Civil Secretariat, implementation of 7th PC in the State on the pattern of Central Government and increase of medical allowance from Rs 300 per month to Rs 2000 per month,” the protestors said.
