Srinagar: Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik Tuesday condemned the attacks by forces at Drubgam Pulwama where ‘unproved firing injured a civilian Altaf Ahmad Zargar of Aglar, hooliganism at Ashtaingoo Bandipora, Betapora Yaripora Kulgam, Siadpora Payeen in Shupian and arresting dozens of youth at Ganderbal’.

According to a statement issued to KNS, Malik said that “these attacks on civilian population are a mark of frustration of Indian rulers and the state government, which have failed in forcing Kashmiris to submission by use of military might and police force.”
“Unprovoked firing at Drabgam, attack on villagers in Ashtaiingoo, vandalizing properties and putting vehicles on fire at Saidpora Shupian , beating common people including women and children at Betapora Yaripora and arresting dozens of youth at Ganderbal are all examples of state sponsored terrorism,” he said.
He said that ‘this terrorism’ against common people has been ordered by Indian rulers and the state government led by PDP and only target of this military and police ‘hooliganism’ is to terrorize common people and force Kashmiris into submission.
“These assaults have again exposed the ugly face of Indian democracy in Kashmir and the criminal silence of the rulers on these attacks is actually their silent support of this terrorism in uniform,” he said.
JKLF chairman said that ‘these terrorists in uniform’ have no respect of holy Ramadan, women or children as they only know to kill, maim, blind, humiliate and destroy whatever comes their way.
Malik said that the criminal silence of the PDP led regime on these attacks speaks volumes about their anti-Muslim and anti-Kashmiri attitude and this actually tantamount to their silent support of ‘this terrorism in uniform’.
He reiterated that rulers and their forces are actually playing with fire by unleashing this ‘hooliganism’ and that Kashmiris will not remain silent on ‘this terrorism’ and “if this terrorism is not stopped immediately Kashmiris will be forced to organize protests against it and responsibilities of any untoward happenings will lie on the shoulders of the rulers.”
“Indian occupational army and forces and their masters should remember that their terrorism against common people can never suppress us or force us into submission .we will keep resisting this state sponsored terrorism at every cost till the achievement of the desired goal,” Malik added. (KNS)
