Srinagar: Militants Sunday attacked a security force Road Opening Party (ROP) on Srinagar-Jammu national highway in south Kashmir district with automatic weapons, official sources said here.
They said a ROP of security forces was fired upon by militants at Bijbehara on the highway. However, the militants managed to escape after the firing, they said adding no one was injured in the incident.
