Cop killings show Mehbooba’s brute failure on law & order front: G A Mir

Srinagar: Ghulam Ahmed Mir the President Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee has in a statement issued here on Friday said that ‘brutal killing’ of six policemen show brute failure of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti in handling worsening law & order Front in Jammu &Kashmir.
Saying that for the first time rifles are snatched from police men day in and day out, Mir said now policemen have been dragged out from the vehicle and killed brutally. Alleging that Chief Minister has lost control over the situation and life of people has been threatened by increasing attacks on policemen, politicians Mir said the life of even general masses at risk.
He called upon the Governor and the central government to take serious note of increasing attacks on policemen, politicians and public functionaries and immediate measures to ensure security of life of the people particularly policemen, politicians and public functionaries. (KNS)
