Srinagar, Jun 15 : Two policemen were injured when militants attacked a police party at Hyderpora in city outskirts tonight, official sources said here. One of the injured has reportedly succumbed. This was the second such incident in Kashmir since Thursday afternoon.
They said militants attack a police party near J&K Bank in Hyderpora in Srinagar, resulting in injuries to two policemen. The injured, one of them critical, were immediately taken to 92 Army Base Hospital in Srinagar, they said. Additional deployments have been rushed to the area and a search operation has been launched to nab the militants. Earlier, a policeman was shot dead by militants in south Kashmir district of Kulgam in the afternoon.
