Srinagar/June,7: Director General of Police S.P Vaid has hailed the government decisions regarding creation of Jammu and Kashmir Police Service cadre and increase in selection grade Constable quota from 25 to 50 per cent.
In a series of tweets, DGP thanked the government for the decisions.
He has congratulated the officers, policemen and their families.
Vaid said hundreds of officers and policemen would be benefited by these decisions.
“These decisions would go a long to boost the morale of police force,” DGP said.
Earlier, the State government on Wednesday accorded approval to the creation of JK Police Service Cadre and also enhancement in the quota of Selection grade Constable from 25 to 50 pc in the cabinet meeting.
