Guv, CM, Dy CM, minister, Ors condole Rangeel Singh’s demise

Srinagar/June,6: Governor N.N. Vohra, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh, several minister and Advisor to Chief Minister Amitabh Matoo have in their separate statements condoled the passing away of S. Rangeel Singh, former Minister and senior Vice-President of PDP.

In his message the Governor N N Vohra has prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and wished his family the strength to bear this sad loss.

In her condolence message, the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti said in the death of S. Rangeel Singh the State has lost one of the refined, dedicated and towering leaders who belonged to a generation whose sole motto in public life was selfless service to humanity. I am deeply saddened to know of the demise of Rangeel Singh Ji who was also a close associate of late Mufti sahib, she said in her message Mehbooba Mufti said the contribution rendered by S. Rangeel Singh in public life-as a Minister, legislator or as the head of a leading sports body-would always remain an inspiration for the present generation. She said the people of the State would always recall his selfless services during these tenures.The Chief Minister has conveyed her heartfelt   sympathies to the bereaved family of S. Rangeel Singh while praying for eternal solace to the departed leader.

In his condolence message, the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family

 Minister for Revenue, Abdul Rehman Veeri, Minister for Agriculture Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura, Minister for Rural Development Abdul Haq, Minister for FCS&CA and Information Zulfkar Ali, Minister for Horticulture, Syed Basharat Ahmad Bukhari, Minister for Finance, Dr. Haseeb A Drabu, Minister for PWD, Naeem Akhtar, Minister for Education, Syed Altaf Bukhari, Minister for IT Imran Ansari,  Minister of state for Social welfare Asiea Naqash, Minister of state for Forest and Environment, Mir Zahoor Ahmed, Minister of State for Haj & Auqaf Farooq Ahmed Andrabi condoled the sad demise of former Minister and senior Vice President of PDP, S. Rangeel Singh.

In separate messages, the Ministers said Singh will always be remembered for his pro- public initiatives particularly in Jammu region. They said Rangeel Singh will always remain an inspiration for the present generation.

The Ministers conveyed their sympathies to the bereaved family of S. Rangeel Singh and prayed for eternal solace to the departed leader.

In his condolence message Advisor to Chief Minister Dr  Amitabh Matoo said Singh would be known for his efforts in strengthening the party in Jammu.Dr Matoo prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
