Srinagar/June,7: The 434-km strategic Srinagar-Leh highway was re-opened around noon on Tuesday after being closed for traffic due to landslides at several places near Zojila last night.
DSP Traffic Ganderbal Liyaqat Qadri said that two to three landslides, triggered by heavy overnight rains at Zojila, disrupted traffic movement between Sonamarg and Meenmarg.“The traffic movement from Drass to Sonamarag has been restored now,” he said.
