Srinagar/June,3: Paying rich tributes to the youth slain in Sumbal Bandipora   Syed Ali Geelani said that our youth lay their lives to end the age-old slavery of their nation, putting a huge responsibility on our shoulders to honor these sacrifices and take the movement to its logical end.
Geelani accused authorities for creating appalling situations in state and said that they have set forth their strategy and are looking for excuses to create 90’s like situation in state to justify the use of lethal weapons against unarmed and innocent youth.
He said that this arrogance, haughtiness and persistent denial can’t hold water for long and India must come to terms with the writing on the wall.
Syed Ali Geelani blamed India for its rigid and stubborn approach and said that their insensitivity and unconcern is the sole reason for this unabated bloodshed. They mercilessly are killing our youth and on one pretext or the other and with their brute force are pushing youth to wall.
Our economy has always remained easy target & it is their well thought ploy to make every soul dependent, asserted Geelani & while referring to sinister designs of India, said that they want to cripple our economy & that from day first, authorities in Delhi were hell-bent to cripple & crush our economic infra structure, create sense of insecurity & are very desperate to see us holding begging bowel.
Referring to Kashmir issue, Syed Ali Geelani said that it is a political and humane issue and as such military might or coercive measures won’t solve this.
Geelani asked Indian authorities to shun rigid and stubborn approach and fulfill its commitment with the people. Shelving the issue for long will deteriorate further the flared situations, said Geelani and added that the standstill and status que position will flare already charged atmosphere between the two nuclear powers in sub-continent.
