New Delhi, May 30: Senior BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu today expressed confidence that veteran party leaders — LK Advani, Dr Murli Manohar Joshi and Union Minister Uma Bharti, and BJP Rajya Sabha Member Vinay Katiyar would come out clean in the Babri Masjid Demolition case.
When asked about today’s development at the Special CBI Court in Lucknow, where these leaders appeared today and were granted bail, Mr Naidu said it is a legal process.
‘The party leaders are innocent and they will come out unscathed, Mr Naidu said.
He refused to make any further comment.
Mr Advani, Dr Joshi, Uma Bharti Vinay Katiyar and others appeared in Lucknow at the Special CBI Court.
