New Delhi, May 24:The Aam Aadmi Party government today called for a one-day session of Assembly on May 31 for the passage of the State Goods and Services Tax (SGST) Bill.
The one day sitting was approved at a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal here this evening.
“The Delhi Cabinet, in its meeting chaired by the Chief Minister approved convening of the third part of fifth session of the current Delhi Legislative Assembly for a one-day sitting on May 31, for the passage of the State GST Bill,” according to an official statement.
Earlier, the Government had called one day special session of the Assembly on May 9 to discuss on Electronic Voting Machines.
