Srinagar/May,23: Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar, MLA Ganderbal, called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here Tuesday.
Jabbar apprised the Governor about the to-date status of ongoing developmental schemes in his Constituency and offered suggestions for the more effective involvement of locals in the organization of the annual Amarnath Yatra.
Appreciating Jabbar’s concerns the Governor urged him to continue sustained efforts for promoting a peaceful environment which would enable rapid development and welfare of the people of his area.
