Power shutdown in Srinagar parts

Srinagar/May, 19: According to the Superintending Engineer, EM&RE Circle-II, Srinagar, in order to facilitate the shifting of consumers onto the new Distribution Transformer (DTs) installed under the RADRP-B scheme, areas which receive power from Peerbagh feeders 1,2 and 3 shall remain affected  from May 20 to 27 from 9:30 am to 5 pm.

The Superintending Engineer said for execution of Load shifting in Cooperative Colony, Friends Colony and Jeelanbad preliminary preparation for load shifting in adjacent areas, Umarabad Sectionalization and Peerbagh F02 reconductoring along main road, electric supply from Peerbagh Feeders 1&2 shall be affected on May 20 and 22.

To execute work on Umarabad Load shifting, electric supply from Peerbagh Feeders 1&2 shall be affected on May 22, 24 and 27.

Whereas, to execute the work on sectionalization of Peerbagh F02 near Police Headquarter, power supply from Peerbagh Feeders 1, 2 & 3 shall remain affected on May 23

Meanwhile, to execute the work of Load Shifting in Rose Avenue and ATM Lane power supply from Peerbagh Feeders 1&2 shall be affected on May 24 and 27 .

Similarly, in order to facilitate  the shifting of consumers onto the new DTs installed under the RADRP-B scheme, power from Rajbagh Feeders 1, 2, 3 & 4 shall remain affected on May 20 and 22 for carrying out preliminary preparation for load shifting.

Similarly, on May 22 to execute load shifting of DTs near Rajbagh Flat Quarters, power shutdown from Rajbagh feeder 1 shall be on May 22.

For carrying out Load Shifting of DTs near Ramzan Hospital, Amar Singh College, KGP and near Jhula Bridge, electricity from Rajbagh feeders 2 and 4 shall remain affected on May 22 and 24.

While as electricity from receiving station Bemina 2nd shall remain affected from May 22 to May 24.
