Srinagar/May,15: An European delegation Monday met Minister for Education, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari and discussed issues pertaining to the improvement in JK’s education sector.
During the meeting, the head of delegation, Dr Mohammad Muqadam, a Cambridge Certified trainer from United Kingdom, exchanged various ideas with the Minister to bring positive change in the state’s overall educational scenario.
While asking the delegation to send him the written proposal of their programs, the Minister said he is open to suggestions and ready to take any step for the betterment of education in the State. He promised the delegation for quick response to their proposal.
During the meeting, Bukhari said, “I want to live up to the expectations of the people and being the education minister, my endeavor is to deliver quality education to the children.”
Among others, the meeting was also attended by Trustees of Foundation World School, the first Cambridge School in the State.
