Srinagar/May,14: A civilian injured during attack on a police party in Anantnag district in South Kashmir last week succumbed at SKIMS Soura on Sunday and with the death of this civithe death toll in the attack has risen to six.
The deceased was identified as Muhammad Hussain Dar, resident of Khrewan Malpora Anantnag.
Hussain was injured after militants attacked a police patrolling party near Malpora-Mir Bazar on May 6.
A policeman and a wanted militant of Lashkar-e-Taiba were among five persons killed in the attack.
