Srinagar, May 14: People today recovered some arms and ammunition from a mosque and later handed over to police in the north Kashmir district of Kupwara, a police spokesman said here this evening.
He said during the demolition of an old mosque at village Lashipora Rajwar, Handwara in the frontier district of Kupwara locals found an AK rifle and three magazines.
Later arms and ammunition were later handed over to police by the villagers, he said.
