Jammu/May,11: Vice Chancellor Cluster University Jammu, Dr. Anju Basin, along with Registrar Cluster University, Dr. Jatinder Khajuria, Thursday visited Government SPMR College of Commerce, Jammu.
Principal SPMR Collge, Dr. S.P. Sharma, apprised the VC about various initiatives and works to be taken for upgradation of the infra at the college.
Speaking on the occasion, the Vice Chancellor talked about the immense potential of the College faculty to run various professional courses.
She appreciated the initiative of the College for ‘Earn while you Learn’ scheme. She shared with the faculty her vision of Jammu emerging as an education hub by finding ways to organize student talent. She appreciated the zeal and drive of the Principal and faculty as a team.
The VC inspected various development works on the campus and also took stock of new buildings there coming up under RUSA for the Cluster University. In her visit to the college hostel, she proposed a resident warden and advised all the ongoing renovation work to be completed before the commencement of the new academic session.
