Srinagar/May,12: A complete shutdown is being observed in Pulwama town of south Kashmir today against the ransacking of shops by government forces during clashes yesterday.
All shops and other business establishments remained closed in the town while traffic was off the roads.
Several shopkeepers had on Thursday alleged that they were beaten up by forces and their shops vandalised.
The shopkeepers later carried out a protest rally to demand action against the cops who ransacked their shops. “The forces beat up shopkeepers and also damaged accessories in the shops,” locals said
