Pulwama/May,12: A complete shutdown was observed in South Kashmir’s Pulwama town on Friday against vandalizing of shops and thrashing of traders allegedly by Government Forces during clashes on Thursday.
The Pulwama trader’s body has called for two days shutdown alleging government forces thrashed shopkeepers and damaged their property in the town, a charge refuted by police who claimed that no shopkeeper was manhandled.
Eyewitnesses said all shops, business establishments and educational institutions remained shut while transport also remained off the roads.
