Srinagar/May,11: Kashmir resolution can be solved only through UNO resolutions, said Hurriyat Conference (G). Hurriyat (G) termed the prevailing bloodshed in state as outcome of wrong policies and arrogance of Indian authorities & sought UN intervention and described these resolutions on the issue as an “important framework” for settlement of the dispute.
Commenting over the prevailing situations, Hurriyat (G) said that present appalling situations in state is a reaction & natural phenomenon against stubborn attitude of Indian authorities and said that Delhi through its military might is desperate to thrust its verdict.
While referring to Mehbooba Mufti’s statement, Hurriyat Conference (G) said that no sane person can derive pleasure from loss of lives, however it is Indian army that has set trend and almost all killings were carried by Indian forces but it is surprising that she never regretted, asked or enquired about these killings, carried by forces and police.
Mehbooba Mufti instead of admonishing pro-freedom section, could have suggested and asked Narendra Modi and Rajnath Singh that Kashmir issue can’t be resolved through military and coercive measures and insisted could have suggested for political resolution.
Hurriyat Conference (G) while addressing Mehbooba Mufti, asked where are her feelings about innocent killings sponsored by state and said that their only main aim is to safeguard and secure their chair and authority. Hurriyat said that whenever they feel that power corridores are slipping from their hands or Delhi is looking for some other favorite & stooge, they hurriedly apologize and bow their heads to appease their masters.
Criticizing state rulers and Mehbooba Mufti for their captive outlook, Hurriyat said that it is because of their irrelevance that Jan Sangh leaders are speaking rubbish about Jammu and Kashmir.
Delhi rely over these stooges, said Hurriyat and they are fully aware about the fact that every soul in Kashmir is striving to get rid of forced occupation.
Jammu and Kashmir has practically been converted into a police state and it is the army and government forces which run the roost in Kashmir. Hurriyat said that any amount of brutality or coercion, however, can’t make the people of Kashmir to give up their just struggle.
Hurriyat (G) said that people in state are peace loving & Indian leaders can play a key role and instead of applying coercive measures should respect the aspiration of people.
It is better to shun fanatical politics, said Hurriyat and need of the hour is to realize the ground realities about long pending issue of Jammu and Kashmir.
