Srinagar/ May,12 A complete shutdown would be observed on May 21 to commemorate the death of Mirwaiz Farooq, Abdul Gani Lone and the Hawal martyrs, said a statement issued by Mirwaiz-led Hurriyat Conference today.
Spelling out the programme for the ‘Hafta-i-Shahadat’, Mirwaiz said: “A complete shutdown would be observed on May 21 to honour the death of Shaheed Mirwaiz Farooq, Shaheed Abdul Gani Lone, Hawal martyrs and all other martyrs of Kashmir, as part of joint programme by the resistance leadership.”
He said that congregational ‘Fateh Khwani’ and a grand rally would be held at Eidgah in Srinagar by the joint resistance leadership after ‘Zuhr’ prayers on the day.
