Paying rich tributes to Shaheed-e-Millat, Mirwaiz Mohammad Farooq, Shaheed-e-Hurriyat Abdul Gani Lone, martyrs of Hawal and all the martyrs of the movement, the participants stated that the people of Kashmir have offered huge sacrifices and continue to offer sacrifices of their life and property for the rightful cause of freedom, the ultimate sacrifices of Shaheed-e-Millat, Shaheed-e-Hurriyat and other leaders for the struggle are written with golden letters in the history of Kashmir.
Asserting it was due to the sacrifices of Kashmiri people and their leadership that Kashmir movement was internationalized and its solution was considered as an essential component to bring stability in India, Pakistan and entire South Asia, the participants stated that the world community has realized the political reality that without solving the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiris, peace and prosperity in the region cannot be realized.
Denouncing the aggressive military approach adopted by the rulers of New Delhi and their local collaborators in Kashmir by unleashing terror, torture and tactics of suppression against the unarmed people of Kashmir, the participants stated that the state has initiated a war against the civilian population. Condemning the use of wanton force against young kids, mostly school and college students, by the government forces as state sponsored terrorism, the participants stated that entire Kashmir is being run at the will and whim of Army and forces and the atrocities committed on the people were completely inhuman and atrocious.
