Srinagar/May,9: Reacting over the reports that Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is mulling to appoint Tasaduq Mufit as her Chief Advisor, National Conference Tuesday said that PDP is trying to create family hegemony in Jammu and Kashmir.
National Conference spokesperson Junaid Azim Matoo said Mehbooba Mufti while failing to get her brother elected from South Kashmir’s Parliament seat is now trying to rehabilitate Tasaduq Mufti by appointing him as her Chief Advisor. “This way she will not only rehabilitate him but will accord him the status of Cabinet Minister,” he said and added that PDP’s days are numbered.
LeT condemns continuous detention of Asiya Andrabi
Srinagar/May,9: While condemning the continuous detention of Asiya Andrabi, militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba Chief Mehmood Shah Tuesday said that the brutalities committed on Kashmiri women in presence of Mehbooba Mufti are shameful.
“Islam has given a very high status to the women but Mehbooba Mufti is far away from basic sense and morality,” Shah said.
In a statement to local vernacular news agency CNS, Mehmood Shah said that students are living miserable lives in the Valley. “Forces are violating the rights of Kashmiris. School students are looking for their future on the roads of Kashmir protesting against Mehbooba and the Indian Forces. India has left no other option for the oppressed Kashmiris,” he said.
Blaming Indian Prime Minister for killing Muslims across India, the LeT chief said that Modi is repeating the same in Kashmir but this can’t stop break the resolve of people of Kashmir.
“Freedom is the destination which is getting closer and closer. India is trying its utmost to maintain its unjustified occupation in Jammu and Kashmir. But it is not going to happen. It’s our turn now and Allah will help us,” Spokesperson LeT.Dr  Abdullah Ghaznavi quoted Mehmood Shah as having said.
