Within the provisions of our CSR programme, we shall extend every possible help to contribute to and harvest the potential of water sports in the state.

On the occasion, Chairman congratulated the group for their brilliant performance during the contest and awarded a cash prize of Rs 5000 to each of the 25 medalists.

Led by J&K’s Kayaking and Canoeing Coach Bilquis Mir, the young athletes had come to express their gratitude for the financial support that the bank extended towards their travel to Bhind, MP for the recently concluded championship. Bilquis pointed out rich water resources available in the state for promoting water sports. “What we need is infrastructure in terms of boats etc and I appeal the chairman to lend financial support to raise appropriate infrastructure for water sports<” Bilquis said.

The chairman expressed his willingness to extend whatever possible support for promotion of water sports in the state and asked them to submit a detailed report to enable the bank to take a view in this regard.
