State Football Academy to organize coaching camps, registrations open

Srinagar, May 07: State Football Academy that will be JK’s first Football academy run by the J&K State Sports Council will conduct its maiden coaching cum fitness camp very soon. However the registration forms for the trials will be available at the Synthetic Turf TRC, Srinagar from May 09, 2017.

First of its kind, the coaching camp will be held exclusively for the U-18, U-16, U-13 age groups. International footballer Mehraj Ud Din Wadoo will instruct/coach the aspiring sportspersons, players and will abreast the players with latest inns and outs of the game.
“As fitness has become a crucial part in any Footballers’ growth, we intend to keep the players abreast with the latest trends in managing one’s body for optimum performance,” said International Footballer Mehraj Ud Din Wadoo.
The registration forms for trials will be available from May 09, 2017. “The registration forms will be available at the office of State Football Academy at Synthetic Turf Srinagar, from May 09, 2017,” informed officials of the Sports Council.
State Football Academy is the first of its kind initiative in the state after getting approval from the authorities of the Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council.
