New Delhi, May 6: Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi today held a meeting with members of the Gujarat PCC core committee and held discussions on the political scene and the party’s strategy for the coming assembly elections in the state.
Taking to Twitter, Mr Gandhi said, “Had a productive meeting with the Gujarat PCC Core Committee.
Discussed political issues and the upcoming elections in the state.
’’ Among those who were present at the meeting were senior Congress leaders from Gujarat Ahmed Patel, Madhusudan Mistry, Shankar Sinh Vaghela, Bharat Singh Solanki, Shakti Sinh Gohil and Himmat Singh.
The marathon meeting, in which newly appointed secretaries incharge for Gujarat were also present, discussed the strategy of the party for the forthcoming elections in the state.
