Srinagar/May,4: The Minister of State for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Housing & Urban Development, Asiea Naqash, Thursday said concerted efforts need to be made to achieve tangible results on ground to provide better amenities and services to the people.
The Minster was speaking while chairing a high-level meeting of officials of various departments to take stock of progress of ongoing developmental works at the Hazratbal Shrine here.
Seeking details about development of inner approach road to the shrine, construction of boundary wall and Wazoo Khana at Hazratbal Shrine, the Minster was informed that steps are being taking for beautification in and around the shrine premises as well as for resolving parking issues besides renovation and beautification of the market around the shrine.
The Minister directed the concerned official to speed up work and complete the projects in the stipulated time. She called upon the officers to draw well thought out plans and execute works in a time-bound manner. She said concerted efforts are needed to achieve tangible results on ground so that better amenities and services are provided to the people.

The Minister directed the authorities to ensure cleanliness in and around the premises of all shrines and to take care of arrangements and treat devotees with care and utmost professionalism during the religious gatherings.
Director Tourism Kashmir, Secretary Wakaf Board, Project Manager INTACH Srinagar and other concerned officials from various departments attended the meeting.
