Budgam/May,1: Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura, Monday chaired a meeting to review progress of various ongoing development projects in Chrar-e-Sharief constituency.
District Development Commissioner Budgam, Officials of ERA, Public Works (Roads & Buildings) and other concerned attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the Minister directed the concerned to expedite macadamization of Chadoora-Dadwumpur, Hanjoora-Muqam-Shumnag, Nowpora-Nowhar, Wathora-Rapora via Buchroo, Kherigund to Branjan and Sogam-badipora roads in the constituency on priority. He also asked the executing agencies and other concerned to accelerate the pace of work and ensure timely completion of all the development projects, so that their benefits percolate to the grass root level.
He also reviewed the pace of works of twin bridges at Khergunj and construction of Chadoora- Hajin road.
On the occasion, Hanjura stressed on greater transparency and judicious use of funds in implementation of various developmental works. He called for proper coordination among the concerned Departments for effective and timely completion of developmental projects in the Constituency.
