Srinagar/April,29: While welcoming the observation of the Supreme Court that the Government should hold talks to resolve the situation in Jammu and Kashmir, former chief minister and senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said that the Centre was adopting a ‘stubborn’ attitude towards talks.
Talking to reporters here, Azad said,”the Government is adopting a stubborn attitude with regard to dialogue. It wants to muzzle the voice of the people by saying no to talks.” Azad’s comments came in response to the Centre telling the Supreme Court that there will not be any talks with separatists or those raising slogans of Azadi in Jammu and Kashmir.
